This beautiful lady made my childhood brighter. "Aunt Thelma" and "Uncle Charlie", as we neighbor children called them, always had time and an open door whether it was for just one person or an entire neighborhood. Aunt Thelma was southern hospitality. She only spoke of others in a positive manner, that warm and friendly smile was always on her face and her arms were open wide in welcome or to soothe a hurt. Her strong faith was evident in word and actions throughout her life. My sincere sympathies to the family and also gratitude for sharing this remarkable and classy lady with so many. She is greatly missed.
