Condolences

Condolence From: Sue Carney Caldwell
Condolence: What a great lady that will be missed by many. She was a woman full of love to her family, friends, and her church. I have many great memories of Aunt Thelma and Uncle Charlie during our summers spent in Franklin. We would watch her "soaps" with her/ play chinese checkers for hours/ gather the eggs and milk the cow/ spent hours cooking cornbread or stringing beans. She was a gracious lady who loved the Lord. In her later years, it was a treat to spend time talking about God's Word. She will always be remembered fondly. I am so sorry for your loss.

Condolence From: Melanie Combs
Condolence: This beautiful lady made my childhood brighter. "Aunt Thelma" and "Uncle Charlie", as we neighbor children called them, always had time and an open door whether it was for just one person or an entire neighborhood. Aunt Thelma was southern hospitality. She only spoke of others in a positive manner, that warm and friendly smile was always on her face and her arms were open wide in welcome or to soothe a hurt. Her strong faith was evident in word and actions throughout her life. My sincere sympathies to the family and also gratitude for sharing this remarkable and classy lady with so many. She is greatly missed.
