I played football with Joe in high school and always remember him as a positive guy, always smiling. Last time I saw him was at Hank Merz Life Celebration where he spoke movingly. Didn't realize he'd join Hank so soon. My prayers are for the rest of his soul and for comfort for his family, especially for Donna, with whom I went to high school.
