I had to pleasure of being one of Ashley's softball coach's at Fairview. It was her first year playing, and she jumped right in. I came to practice and the kids told me she had just left because she got hit by a ball. I saw her the next day at school and she ran up to me and said "Look at my face!!! can you believe it?" She had a tooth knocked loose, a fat lip and some cuts. She was just worried about her face haha She was so tough, it didn't even phase her. I will miss her funny stories, smirks, and the way she befriended people no matter who they were. She made friends like it was easy. She was one of the most intelligent young lady's I worked with. I will miss her, and the woman she would've have been.
