Condolence: Dear Nancy, Bud and Alice, I am so sad to hear of your
mother's death. I know she was not well, but didn't have any idea we would lose her so soon. I loved her. She was so honest in what she had to say. There was goodness in her heart. So many people in the county do not know how much blood she donated to the hospital's
walking blood bank. My mother and your mother both were
asked to give blood years ago for someone going into
emergency surgery. My mother was ill and could not give
any more blood. So your mother and I went down to give
blood. I barely gave enough before my blood just stopped flowing, but your mother gave a pint and told me
she gave very often. I wonder how many lives she saved.
The last time I saw her we talked about family, you kids
and our grandparents. It was a lovely visit I will always miss her. My deepest regards to all of you and

Condolence: Friends and Family,
I would thank everyone who was so very helpful during this hard time with the passing of my grandmother. People seemed be very understanding and were wiling to help Bud, Nancy and my mother Alice during the week.

Also, I would like to share my feelings on what a positive impact Grandma Angel had on me. To my knowledge she never spoke a foul word or never would pass judgement onto any person that I knew of. She was always thinking of others and never herself. I find all this to be very rare in this world and very refreshing. When I would visit from Indiana, she always made me feel right at home, always. Also, she would always make me feel like I was part of the Angel family even though I was adopted. She has no idea how good that makes me feel to this day because I can't say that my dad's family made me feel like Grandma Angel did.

I am know 37 years old and I am the Unit Director of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Porter County, IN.-South Haven Unit and I have over 850 members that belong to my Club. I try to lead be example around here like my grandmother and mother have always done. I try to be a caring, understanding, and polite. Also, I try not to judge others, children need to know that past mistakes should really be left in the past. Most of all I teach them to be grateful for what you have and not what they don't have. I teach that life lesson every day way up here in Indaina...thanks to my Grandma Angel.

I am very honored to be her grandson and always will be. I am glad she is in heaven with her husband, Grandpa Angel who also was a wonderful person!!! I am not sure any one will ever read this, but I felt I needed to let people know how great Oliatta Angel was as a human being.

The world lost a great person on January 8, 2007. However, heaven was a beter place on this day as well.
