Obituary for Joshua Douglas Moore

Joshua Douglas Moore, 24, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2007.

A native of Macon County, he was the son of Terry and Trina Long Moore. He was a service technician for Smoky Mountain Chevrolet. Josh was an avid sportsman, fisherman, golfer and hunter. He attended Long Branch Baptist Church. He was loved by everyone that knew him and will be greatly missed.

Surviving in addition to his parents, Terry and Trina Moore, he is survived by one sister, Jessica Leigh Fitzgerald and husband, Charles of Hawaii; paternal grandparents, Jack and Anne Moore; maternal grandmother, Peggy Long; aunts, Christine Moore and husband, Richard, and Marie Conner, all of Sylva, NC; one uncle, Billy Long of Charleston, SC; niece, Sarah Fitzgerald and nephew, Brendan Fitzgerald.

Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 1, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Lee and Rev. John Talley will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, at Macon Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Blake Sheffield, Darren Worley, Nathan Hearsey, Brian Waldroop, Terrell Dodgins, Ricky Dills and Eddie Crawford.

Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
