Denise Moore

Amy, Words cannot begin to replace the loss of a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Your mother touched many lives with her kindness and unselfishness. She was there through my first pregnancy (Claudia) as Dr. Martone's nurse, I once said to her in my made up southern belle voice "Ms. Brenda I don't know nothin bout birthin babies." To which she quickly grabbed my hands and replied in her truly southern belle voice "Thats ok Scarlet, we'll get through it tagethah." When I attended West Franklin Church she lifted me up and encouraged me through a very rough time in my life, I always treasured her gift of acknowledgement. I remember one day I was standing in the greenhouse at Walmart when I felt a tap on my shoulder, it was your mom, she said "I've chased you all over this store trying to get your attention, I haven't seen you in so long, how have you been." She reached out and gave me a hug before I could answer. That was the kind of love she had in her heart for others. That is how I remember your mom.
