The Holidays can be especially challenging for families who have lost a loved one. At Macon Funeral Home, we acknowledge those difficult feelings with a special Service of Remembrance that unites us in fellowship, love and support.

for a special tribute to loved ones known as our Service of Remembrance.
This special service is designed to help us be mindful of those whom we've lost, to reconsider our relationship to them and others, and to fondly remember what they added to our lives just by knowing them.

You're cordially invited to join us on Dec. 8, 2022 from 3 pm to 7 pm for our Service of Remembrance to honor loved ones. The Holidays offer tremendous power and poignancy in remembering those we've lost.
Macon Funeral Home is pleased to welcome Ashley Matthews, who recently joined our staff as a Funeral Assistant. Ashley has the attributes and compassion for helping families deal with the difficulty of loss.
Our office administrator Tori McKay explains the inspiration for bringing Mochi, a grief therapy dog, to Macon Funeral Home to assist families coping with loss.
A SPECIAL SERVICE IN PICTURES: This year's Service of Remembrance was held at Macon Funeral Home on December 2nd. The annual event is designed to help families both grieve and celebrate life through the act of remembering and shared fellowship.
In our first blog post, we point to the values and insights our views can provide in helping people understand the journey. We hope our blog posts will be a mixture of inspiration, good news and sound advice for dealing with the loss of a loved one.
