Obituary for Louise Sprinkle (Dills)
Louise Sprinkle, 97, of Franklin, passed away, Wednesday, December 27, 2017.
Born in Maysville, GA, she was the daughter of the late William McKinley Dills and Cora Essie Ledford Dills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 69 years, John Sprinkle and three brothers, Carl, Frank and Roy Lee “Barney” Dills. Louise enjoyed reading, working in her yard and rose garden and loved hummingbirds.
She is survived by five brothers, Bobby Dills and wife Judy of Dawsonville, GA, Jerry Dills and wife Inez of Winder, GA, Joe Dills and wife Sue of Roanoke Rapids, NC, Doug Dills and wife Noreen of Monroe, GA and David Dills and wife Louetta of Franklin and sister-in law, Mary Dills of Lancaster, PA.
Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 31, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Stanley Samuel and Rev. Don Moffitt will officiate. Burial will be in the Union United Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Dills, Doug Dills, John Samuel, Mike Dills, David Lee Dills and Chris Dills.
Memorial donations can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 6931 Arlington Road, Bethesda, MD 20814.
