Sometimes in our lives we are blessed to meet very special people. The kind of people that bring the best out in us. Such is the case with our dear friend Beth Spencer.

Personally, from the day I met her I felt as though I had known her my whole life. Though Beth spent a good part of her life in Florida, she instantly adopted us here in Northeast Georgia as members of her extended family. She loved her home, she loved her neighbors, she loved her community and Rabun County. Everyone loved Beth. I can truly say, without hesitation that I am a much better person for knowing her. I have always felt that one of the biggest compliments that can be paid to a person is to be able to say, “ I like the way I feel about me, when I’m with you” That was Beth Spencer.

She will be sorely missed but not forgotten. May she find ultimate peace in the arms of the Holy Spirit as Heaven welcomes her home.
