Obituary for Franklin "Del" Delano Ross Jr.
Franklin “Del” Delano Ross Jr., 50, of Franklin, passed away Monday, December 5, 2016.
Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Dorothy Larue Shumpert Ross and the late Franklin Delano Ross Sr. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by one sister, June Elders. Del was a member of Franklin Church of God.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Sherri Southard Ross; three children, Jeremy Trey Ross, Jared Daniel Ross and Kerri Allison Ross; two sisters, Vivian Roberson and Ginger Couch both of Columbia, SC; one grandchild, Brently Ashe Ross and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 9th in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Stephens, Rev. Hank Conner, Rev. Phillip Cochran and Rev. Robert Dryman will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Franklin Church of God, PO Box 717, Franklin, NC 28744.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
