Obituary for THOMAS JOHN FRIES

Thomas John Fries, 64, of Franklin, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014.

Born in Burlington, WI, he was the son of the late Rodney Lewis Fries and Carol Ann Kortendick Fries. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth Zitzmann. Thomas was a member of Cowee Baptist Church. He worked in construction.

He is survived by two sisters, Nancy Reuwer and Margaret Ann Weddle both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; two nephews; two nieces and two great nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 19, at Cowee Baptist Church. Rev. David Powell will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Cowee Baptist Church, 6301 Bryson City Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
