Lola Nell Grant Bolin, 62, of Franklin, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011.

Born in Nantahala, she was the daughter of the late James Wiley Grant and Luella Wilson Grant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Daniel, Galesty and Jewel Grant. Lola enjoyed reading and was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Raymond Bolin; three children, Tammy Turpin of Franklin Terri Bolin of Horse Shoe, NC and Cynthia Bolin of Franklin; four sisters, Marie Whitfield of Brevard, Beulah Riddle of Gastonia, Ellamae Kersey of High Point and Rose Brown of High Point; three brothers, Jerry Grant of Gastonia, James Grant of High Point and Sanford Grant of Gastonia; two grandchildren, Johnathan Turpin and Rayla Turpin and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14 in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Raymond Whitfield will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
