Bob was always one of my favorite people when I was a kid. Lost touch with him many years ago. I always remember he was way ahead of the times. To this day every time I see a laser pointer I think of Bob, and how he let me see the one he made way back in the late 70s. Being a kid of course the first thing I did was point it at his eye. He said " dont do that you will burn my eyeball. He was always a good sport and up for fun. He was the Firework King of North Ft Myers. I use to love it when he would break out a box of fireworks and the only occassion it had to be was any given Friday or Saturday night. For many years when I was a young boy, Bob and Mary were a weekly part my life. Cookouts, beach trips, night fishing on the Matlacha Bridge and many nights at the old drive in. He gave me my first pocket knife it was and Old Timer. The first computer keyboard I ever typed on was at Bobs house. He taught me how to play air guitar. He was a good friend to me when I was young. I will always remember Bob and are glad that we were friends when I was young. Gods Speed old friend, till meet again in the Kingdom of Heaven. May you Rest in Peace, and may God grant peace to all your family.
Rube.
