Condolence From: Linda Bodden
Condolence: To Doris's Family,

As a member of Doris's church family, she was always most kind and loving towards me. She made me feel welcome from the start. Doris leaves behind many who are thankful to have known her.

God bless you and I pray He will grant you Peace and Comfort as you deal with this loss.

Condolence: Dear Brandsma family, I just wanted to write and say how deeply sorry I am for your loss . Mrs Doris was such a sweet, loving, and wonderful friend , she will defineitely be missed.I was just a baby when our family started vacationing in Franklin Nc , and attending First Presbyterian Church , Mrs Doris would sit directly behind us in the pews , she even would hold me sometimes (Mom and Dad told me and so did Doris). We later moved to Franklin in 1982 and when i was a senior in high school (in 1986), became a member of Cornerstone Presbyterian. Yall are defineitely in my heart, mind and prayers not only in this difficult time but always . Hope the poem below will bring some comfort . God bless.

I have fallen asleep my loved ones;
I am in the arms of God.
I have crossed over the Jordan -
on to the other side.

Jesus was waiting here for me,
my friends and family by his side.
There's so much beauty
and joy here in Heaven:
angels softly singing
and saints worshipping God ,

There is no reason to mourn for me
because although I have died,
I will still go on living
not only in heaven,
but also in heart and mind.

With Gods' love and glory around us
and angels at his side,
we will soon be together, united, one bright and glorious day.
