William "Bill" Junior VanderWoude, 82, of Franklin, NC and Lake Worth, FL, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2024, with his family present.
He was born in Beaver Dam, WI on August 3, 1942, to William and Jane VanderWoude. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Donald VanderWoude.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Leann VanderWoude, his son Jeffrey Lynn VanderWoude (Carol), two grandchildren William and Macy, siblings Ramona Medema, Sherwood VanderWoude (Claire), Gloria Vonhof, and James VanderWoude (Lois) and many nieces and nephews.
He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and was very dedicated to his work in electrical sales and apartment ownership and management for 40 years. He was an active member and served as Deacon in the Christian Reform Church in Lake Worth for many years and most recently worshipped at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Franklin.
His family will cherish his memory and know he has gone home to the Lord.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 14th, from 4-5pm at Macon Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held after the visitation at 5pm in the Chapel. Interment will be at a later date in Wisconsin.
