Obituary
William Stanley Shedd, 55, of Franklin, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014.
Born in DeKalb County, GA, he was the son of the late William Clinton Shedd and Betty Jane Joiner Shedd. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Sherrie and Lori. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, bird watching and working in his yard and flower beds. William was of the Pentecostal faith and was a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife of 14 ½ years, Deborah Elizabeth Johnson Shedd; four children, Russell McLendon and Brittany Maddox both of Colquitt, GA, Ronay McLendon and Ruth McLendon both of Bainbridge, GA; nine grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Darlene Hudson and husband Joe of Franklin and brother-in-law, Robert Dupras of Franklin.
No services are planned at this time.
