Obituary
William "Bill" Pell Hodges, 56, of Franklin passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Born in Canton, OH, he was the son of Diane Buzzard Mayle and the late Thomas Junior Minard. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny and Denver Hodges. Bill was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his mother, Diane Buzzard Mayle of Bradenton, FL, he is survived by his wife of thirty-five years, Millie Clark Hodges; five children, Crystal Clark of Canton, OH, Victoria Hannum of Canton, OH, Stephanie Hannum of Hollywood, FL, William Hodges, Jr of Franklin, NC, and Ronald Wickham Jr. of Franklin, NC; granddaughter, Marissa M. Clark of the home; three siblings, Debbie Hodges of Bradenton, FL, Michael Hodges of Bradenton, FL, and Angie Hodges of Ripley, W VA; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2pm on Tuesday, April 25 in the chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm, one hour prior to the service.
Memorials can be given to the charity of one's choice.
