Obituary
William "Lamar" Beck, 56, of Salem, SC, passed away unexpectedly on May 20, 2023.
Born in Highlands, NC, he was the son of the late Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Beck and William "Butch" Beck. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving daughter, Sarah LeAnn Beck and infant daughter, Nikita Lynn Beck. He loved the outdoors.
He is survived by two brothers, Scott (Angela) Beck, and James Beck of Franklin; stepmother, Frankie Beck, of Highlands; stepsister, Rhonda Oakley, of Highlands; and stepbrother, Sam Johnson, of Franklin; maternal grandmother, Omie Webb of Franklin, Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Macon Funeral Home, in memory of Lamar Beck to help cover the cost of his funeral.
