Obituary
Walter Edward Foster, 88, of Franklin, formerly of Ft. Myers, FL, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012.
Born in Knoxville, TN, he was the son of the late Lee Foster and Geneva Roberts Foster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, LeRoy Foster and Ralph Foster. Walter was a US Coast Guard veteran and served during WWII. He loved playing tennis, fishing, hunting and boating. He was a member of Morningstar Baptist Church in Ft. Myers, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Bell Copeland Foster and several nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 29th at Lee Memorial Park in Lehigh Acres, FL. Rev. David Lathram will officiate.
Memorial donations can be made to one's favorite charity.
Macon Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
