Thelma Katrina Dixon Dees, 90, of Franklin, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2013.

Born in Savannah, GA, she was the daughter of the late Russell Dixon and Katherine Becker Roach. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood Glynn Dees; two sisters, Dorothy Streb and Lois Bellmeyer and a brother, Russell Dixon. Thelma was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Glenda Lois Hennessy of Franklin; granddaughter, Michelle Atkins and husband Chuck and great-grandson, Owen Charles Atkins.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 1st at Victory Baptist Church. Rev. Benny Bagwell, Rev. Rusty Wolfrey and Rev. Vic Greene will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Morgan, James Bates, Ron Chambers, Fred Workinger, Tony Drinnon and Josh Gray.
