Terry Russell Vanhook, 61, passed away on December 18, 2025. He was born on Sept 1, 1964, in France to James “Bud” Vanhook and Amelia McCullough. He is preceded in death by his father.

Terry dedicated 35 years of his life to Dodge Packaging, where he served faithfully as a warehouse manager and driver. He also proudly served his country in the United States Army. Outside of work, Terry found joy in the simple things fishing on quiet mornings, hunting in the mountains he loved, cheering on his favorite NASCAR drivers, and never missing a chance to support his beloved Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his mother, Amelia “Amy” McCullough; his wife of 18 years, Evelyn Vanhook; his sister, Cynthia “Cindy” V. Cooper; and his brothers, James “Jimmy” Vanhook, Steven Vanhook, and John Vanhook. Terry also leaves behind eleven grandchildren and five nieces and nephews, all of whom brought him great pride and happiness.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Macon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
