Otto, NC: Tami Regina Taylor Ledford just had the best early birthday celebration ever. Born on October 18, 1958, Tami received her ticket to enter into Glory on October 15, 2022, where she is now celebrating with her Lord and those she loved who had arrived earlier. Tami loved the Lord and did her best to show His love to others while working as a CNA/ medical caregiver. She always put the needs of others above her own. Even though Tami had a world of common sense, she was also a risk taker who was up for adventure. One wonderful memory is when she attached a plastic tote to a skateboard and rode it downhill with her grandkids. Tami enjoyed gardening and working outside. She possessed a remarkable ability to make things grow. Her thumb was so green it seemed as if plants would take root even if all she did was drop them on the ground. She also loved animals and absolutely adored her Jack Russell pup named Daisy. Tami grew up with music and was a fan of soul, Motown, and gospel along with her favorite artist, Charlie Pride. Most of all, however, Tami loved her family, especially her grandchildren. In return, she was dearly loved and will long be remembered by her husband, Ben Ledford; her son, Brandon Ledford; her grandchildren, Makenzie Thomas and Taylor Thomas; her sisters, Donna Greenwood and Nikki Sturgill, and her two step-children. She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy Clingman Taylor and Jean Jacobs Taylor; her son, Jake Thomas, and her sister, Robin Taylor. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at LifeSpring Community Church. Moffitt Family Funeral Care is honored to serve Tami's family.
