Shirley Collier Sanders, 67, of Franklin, NC, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Shirley was born on September 17, 1958, in Tallahassee, FL. She was very much loved by all who knew her and was the love of her husband, Jim's life.

She was preceded by her parents, Lloyd and Bettie Collier; brothers, Toby and Pete; and sister, Clay.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, James "Jim" Sanders; two sons, Terry Hyatt Jr. and Jarrod Sanders (Dana); sister, Ronda Motta (Ines); seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Her life and love of family brought warmth and comfort, and her memory will live on with her family and friends.

No services are planned at this time.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the NC Hospice team and her cousin, Alma Miller, for the love and care given in her final days.
