Shirley Pressley Raby, 73, of Franklin, passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014.

Born in Canton, NC, she was the daughter of the late George Earl Pressley and Lola Bailey Pressley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Buddy Raby, sister, Joyce Haney and husband Richard and nephew, Mike Warren. She was the most precious, giving and caring mother that ever lived. She gave everything in her heart and soul to her husband and children.

She is survived by three children, Tamra Raby Blaylock and husband Donovan; two sons; granddaughter and great granddaughter; good friends, Deanne and Bert Raby and Susie Nicholson; four nieces, Debbie Fincannon, Ronna Crowder, Stacy Glance and Tammy Warren and families.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 30, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Raby will officiate. Interment will be in the Roper Cemetery with her loving husband, Buddy.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service.
