Obituary
Sharon Lee Ann Yager Lenihan, 80, of Franklin, NC, passed away Friday March 8, 2024.
Sharon was born in Newark, NJ to the late John Shaffer and Frances Yager. She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse of 58 years, Thomas P Lenihan Jr. She enjoyed crafting, loom knitting, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She loved her puppy, Cindy Lou.
She is survived by her children, Veronica L. Kise of Franklin, John T Lenihan (Stephanie) of Sussex, NJ, Sharon Ann Tippett (Chuck) of Franklin; brother, Garry Pyszka of Waynesville; nine grandchildren, John Charles DePuy, Thomas H DePuy, Jamie L. DePuy, Taryn Lenihan, Kirby Lenihan, J.T. Lenihan, Elizabeth Fincanon, Courtney Hurst, Megan Reeves; sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on April 6, 2024, at Cullasaja R.V. Park from 1-4pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Macon Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
The family would like to thank Mession Cancer Clinic, Angel Medical Center, Macon County E.M.S, Four Seasons and all their friends and family.
