Obituary
Ruby Daisy Belcher Curtis, 96, of Franklin, NC, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024.
Ruby was the daughter of the late Thomas Harvey and Nevada Webb Belcher. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Claude Neville Curtis; children, Ruth Arzetta Martin, Lawrence Bright Lowry, Keith Neville Curtis; grandsons, Jeff Martin, Ricky Lowry, Shannon Lowry; and twelve brothers and sisters.
She was a member of Coweeta Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Prime Timers and a former Sunday School teacher. She babysat many children throughout the years.
She is survived by her daughters, Denise Southard (Steve), Glenda Loose (Cliff), Sheila McClure (Richard); fifteen grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 9th from 5-6pm at Macon Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 6pm in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Keith Ashe and Rev. Davis Hooper will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Appalachian Animal Rescue Center in her memory.
