Obituary
Roy David "R.D." Kizer, 75, of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013.
Born in Austin, TX, he was the son of the late Roy D. Kizer and Viola Brinkman Kizer. Roy was a 12 year US Marine Corps veteran; served in Vietnam; was a member of the Smoky Mountain Detachment of the Marine Corps League and member of the VFW Post 7339. He loved to golf, fish and garden. Roy was Methodist by faith.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Judy Kizer; two children, David Kizer of Austin, TX, Sheryl Mathews of Redlands, CA; two step-children, Gwen Fowler-Berkin of Franklin and Chris Carson of Beijing, China and several grandchildren.
No Services have been planned at this time.
