Rosemary Stingone Skiner, born on March 14, 1955, in Yonkers, NY, passed away on October 5, 2024, in Franklin, NC.

She was the only daughter of Anthony Stingone and Marion Peragine

She was a beloved sister to Anthony, Robert (Maureen), and Michael (Tammy) Stingone, who will all remember her warmth and laughter.

Her loving husband, Frank Skiner, will miss her dearly, and will always cherish their years together.

Rosemary was the proud mother of two children, son Michael Ward (Christy) and daughter Nicole Shawger (Curtis). She found great joy in her role as a grandmother to Michelle Ward, Aaron Shawger, and Allison Shawger, often expressing how proud she was of each of them.

A dedicated Registered Nurse, Rosemary was also a devoted educator, earning her master's degree in nursing education. She not only provided compassionate care as a case manager at Angel Medical Center but also shaped the next generation of healthcare professionals by teaching Certified Nursing Assistants and RN's, inspiring countless individuals in the field of nursing. Her contributions to the field were significant and deeply appreciated.

Known affectionately as "Ro," she had a unique ability to light up any room she entered. Her infectious laughter, warm smile, and huge heart meant that she never met a stranger. Rosemary had a remarkable way of connecting with people, and was always willing to help anyone in need, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. Her great sense of humor and unwavering positivity brought joy to her family, friends, and patients alike.

In her free time, Rosemary enjoyed creating resin jewelry and trinkets, incorporating meaningful elements such as cremains, hair, and even preserved breast milk. She was also a passionate fan of Miami Dolphins football, sharing her love for the sport with friends and family, whether they liked it, or not!

Rosemary's spirit was anchored in her Catholic faith, which guided her throughout her life. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, for to know Rosemary was truly to love her. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

A service will be held at a later date.
