Ronald Lee Rice, Sr., 67, of Franklin, NC, previously of Fort Myers, FL., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

He passed away at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA, after a long battle. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on March 22, 1958, to his parents Dolores Aline Rice and Walter Thomas Rice. Ron was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Kenneth Rice; and his son, Ronnie Junior. He was a master plumber and worked for many years as an estimator and project manager for Coastal Plumbing in Naples, FL. Ron had a good heart, was well loved among his peers, had many lifelong friends, and will be sorely missed.

Ron is survived by his wife, Emilia Rice; his children, Linda Allen and Bruce Allen (Shaunna); his sisters, Sheila Taylor and Shelley Rice; his brothers by heart, Nick, Mike, Andy, and Guy Guerra. Ron had six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 9th from 1-2pm at Macon Funeral Home in Franklin, NC. A graveside service will immediately follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
