Ronald "Ronnie" Wayne Holland, 75, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Ronnie a native to Macon County and was the son of the late Charles Robert and Betty Hazel Adams Holland. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Beverly Elaine Jenkins. He was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and the Macon County Rescue Squad. He loved golfing, fishing, watching racing and old westerns (Gunsmoke especially). He loved to play Yahtzee with his wife (Carolyn). He liked to spend mornings at Hardees with his friends, he always had a smile for everyone. But, most of all loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carolyn Holland; daughter, Pamela Lynn Dickinson (John) of Okeechobee, FL; stepsons, Troy Burt (Dionne) and Bryan Burt (Renee); brother, Richard Dale Holland (Jerdy) of West Columbia, SC; eight grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held Monday, May 6th at 6 pm in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-6 pm, one hour prior to the visitation. Rev. Jason Smith will officiate and eulogy by Joanne Young.
