Obituary
Robert Francis Porter, 92, of Franklin, passed away Friday, September 27, 2013.
Born in Elwood City, PA, he was the son of the late Hollis and Katherine Enslen Porter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Elaine Porter who died August 31, 2010. Robert was a U.S. Army WWII veteran and a recipient of the Purple Heart.
He is survived by his son, Dennis Porter and wife Cindy of Franklin; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren and niece and nephew, Ralph and Leona Porter. He also leaves behind his beloved golden retriever Jack.
No services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Meals on Wheels.
