Robert Lee Deese, 87, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022.

Robert was born in Mullins, SC, and was the son of the late Samuel and Carolyn Jordan Deese. He was a diesel mechanic for Hernando County, Florida for 18 years. He served in the US Army for 3 years and US Coast Guard for 18 years.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Shirlee A. Deese; son, Rob Deese (Tracy) of Waynesville NC; six grandchildren, Jacob Deese, of San Antonio, TX, Isaac Deese, of Sycamore, IL, Dalton Deese, of Goreville, IL, Tyler George, of Waynesville, NC, Tanner Hildreath, Springfield, MO, Taelor Hildreth, of Orlando, Fl.; great grandsons, Troy Story, of Waynesville, NC, and Graysen Deese, of San Antonio, TX; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

A celebration of life will be held in the Spring.
