Obituary
Robert "John" Cipolla, 62, of Otto, passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
Born in Miami, FL, he was the son of the late Al and Beulah Derby Cipolla. Mr. Cipolla served in the 82nd Airborne with the United States Army. In recent years, he worked as a med-tech in the medical field and received the employee of the year award. He enjoyed playing RuneScape, learning about gems and minerals, and making people laugh.
He is survived by his five children, Michael Morrison (Britany) of Melbourne Beach, FL, Deanna Brody of Holland, MI, Jack Morrison of Otto, NC, Kevin Cipolla of Otto, NC, and Kathleen Morphis (Dillon) of Franklin, NC; one brother, Ryan Cipolla of AL; and eight grandchildren.
The celebration of life will be at 2pm on Thursday, September 14, at Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the VFW Post 7339 and American Legion Post 108.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the charity of one's choice.
