Robert Andrew Casto, died at home on September 23, 2026, at 2am. He was the beloved son of Mark Jacob and Barbara Adrienne Casto. Preceded in death by his mother Barbara (Covington) Casto, and his brothers Mark David and Douglas Edward Casto.

After graduating from New Smyrna Beach High school in 1985, he joined the Marines, and became a chef, but was medically retired in 1988 due to a drunk driver. He was an extremely talented man. Who could build anything from any material. He had several hobbies like working with wood on his lathe, restoring his Honda Element SC, watching the birds in the beautiful bird feeding area he created in his front yard, but most of all paintball was his passion. He built paintball guns for people, and he so enjoyed the Fulda-gap tournament at Command Decisions every year with his friends on the 4F squad from Line of Fire. Kind and giving he loved his family and friends, but also would help anyone that needed help whether he knew them or not. As even on the last day of his life he spent the day with his best friend Rich Sellino helping him.

He is survived by his wife Margaret Tana (Snyder), his sons Christopher Earl, and Andrew Parker Casto, his stepsons Leland Jareth, & David Quentin Brunson, his most beloved stepdaughter Cierra Marie Brunson, his sister Laura Margaret Casto and his father Mark Jacob Casto. He will be missed tremendously.

We will be celebrating his life on October 2 at the Macon Funeral Home in Franklin NC. Visitation with family starting at 11am. Funeral at 12pm.
