Obituary
Robert Kenneth Carpenter Jr., 64, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
He was the son of the late Robert Kenneth Carpenter Sr and Mildred Turpin Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Westin Parrish. He loved the CB radio, and his radio name was "Sky Rider". He loved animals, he talked to them, and they seemed to understand him. He used to fly the ultra-lite power parachute, and many people in Franklin remember seeing this flying around.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Carver Carpenter; son, Dustin Carpenter (Heather Ramey); daughter, Nicole Carpenter (Austin Parrish); siblings, Patricia Green (Jerry), Wanda Watts of Tiger, GA; grandchildren, Bryce Parrish, Oakleigh Parrish, Daxton Carpenter, and Blaze Carpenter.
A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, December 26th, at Black Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery
Macon Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
