Reginald Gilbert LaPiere, 82, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2013.
Born in Burlington, Vermont, he was the son of the late Frederick LaPiere and Madaline Miller LaPiere. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael LaPiere and a grandson, Michael Velasco. He was a US Army veteran, and a member of the American Legion Post 108. Reginald was a retired bus driver with Coach USA Charter. He enjoyed bowling and Christmas was his favorite holiday.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty LaPiere; five children, Kathy Kelly and huband Chuck of Franklin, Rusty Tordoff and wife Michelle of Augusta, GA, Junior Rodriquez and wife Neisa of Ft. Myers, FL, Renee Roberts of Jacksonville, NC and Nancy Dicenso of Las Vegas; brother, Curtis LaPiere and wife Margie of Port Orange, FL; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
