Reba Blackwell Talley, 62, of Highlands, NC, passed away Friday, January 9, 2026.

She was born in Oconee, SC, to the late Joseph and Amy Wilbanks Blackwell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rickey Talley and son, DJ Talley. She always wanted to make people laugh and saw her children’s friends as her own. She loved everyone, especially her family and her four grandbabies.

She is survived by her children, David Talley (Marina), Richard Talley (Tina); grandchildren, Justin Talley, Ryder Talley, Madison Talley, Jackson Talley; brother, Robert Blackwell (Helen); and several other children she claimed as her own.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 19th, at Clear Creek Baptist Church from 12-1pm. A service will follow at 1pm, with Gary McCall officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
