Ramona Sue Batson Royse, 64, of Franklin, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Born in Kankakee, IL, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Virginia Jensen Batson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Scott Batson. Ramona was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church in Franklin, NC. Before moving to Franklin, she worked as a quality control inspector in the plastic industry.

Mrs. Royse is survived by her husband of forty-one years, John Wiley Royse; two daughters, Rebecca Royse, and Emily Royse, both of Franklin; son, Christopher Royse of Franklin; and four siblings, Lenora, Carla, Dawn, and Jerry. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Haley, Austin, and Caroline; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will gather at Macon Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 6, from 2pm to 3pm.
