Pauline Starling Luke, 100, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, January 9, 2026.

She was born in Valdosta, GA, October 15, 1925, to her parents, Juniper and Maggie Starling. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Grace Smith, Alzada Davis, her twin, Irene Luke, (who passed at the age of 93), and two brothers, Johnny Starling and Junie Starling, also, one great grandson, Trey Millard.

She is survived by her four daughters, Gerry Swafford (Charles), of Franklin NC, Doris Stotler (Ron), of Green Cove Springs, FL, Lydia Millard (Pat), of Hendersonville, NC, Pam Capps (Jim) of Thomson, GA, and two sons, Donny Luke, of Asheville, NC, and Mark Luke, (Suzon) of Huddleston, VA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

She was the oldest living member of Iotla Baptist Church where she was a member of the Sew and Sews and loved making the quilts. She was a beautiful, loving and caring person who made friends with everyone she met. She loved and cherished her family and was loved by all.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 17th, from 5-7pm at Macon Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 18th, at 2pm at Iotla Baptist Church with Rev. Brandon Breedlove and Rev. Steve Reeves officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
