Paulette lcenhower Corbin, 75, of Highlands NC, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

Paulette was born to Clarence lcenhower and Floy Icenhower. In addition to her father, Clarence, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Corbin; sister, JoAnn Ammons; and infant brother, Jimmy. She was a native of Macon County, and a retired homemaker. She was an avid cook and canner, who loved to garden. She was also a devoted member of the Buck Creek Baptist Church. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by her mother, Floy lcenhower of Highlands, NC; sons, Tony Corbin (Crystal) of Manteo, NC, and Paul Corbin of Highlands NC. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Olivia, Bryson, and Alice, also by her great nephew and niece, Jude and JoAnna Morgan.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday April 14th, at 12pm at Buck Creek Baptist Church. Rev. Roy Lowe, Rev. Jamie Passmore, and Rev. Cale Stancil will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm, one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Buck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Tony Norton, Stacy Vinson, Aaron Holland, Shawn Bates, Rigo Lopes, Skip Sanders, Kevin Earp, and Alan Corbin.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Alan Bryson, James Tate, Jude Morgan, Lucas Leatherman, Tyler Pruett, Parker Wood, Josh Bates, and Josh Young.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Buck Creek Baptist Church.
