Paula Bishop Tenhagen, 84, of Highlands, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2009.

Born in Atlanta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Oby Theodore Bishop and Ann Gram Bishop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Beverly Lambert and Marguerite Ellison and brother, Dickie Bishop. Paula was a contracting engineer at Southern Bell.

She is survived by her son, Thomas N. Tenhagen and wife Theresa Welch of Franklin; brother, Theodore Patrick Bishop of Miami, FL; four grandchildren, Beverly Elizabeth Tenhagen, Joseph William "Joey" Tenhagen, Ashley Roper and Anna George and three great-grandchildren, Peyton Roper, Nicholas Roper and Garrett Roper.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, September 25, in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Johnny Norris and Rev. Gary McCall will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
