Paul David Wrobel, 71, of Franklin, NC, passed away on Friday, August 11th, 2023.
Paul was born on May 27th, 1952, to Raoul and Eleanor Wrobel in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Myers High School, he worked for his brother Ray at "Ray's Car Clinic." After that, he worked alongside his beloved father at Sunrise Village in Tampa, Florida, for 17 years. After moving to Franklin, NC, Paul worked at a local church as their maintenance man. Unfortunately, due to health reasons, Paul had to retire and spent his days enjoying life at home with his family, cats Rocky and Willow, and his canine best friend, Baxter. Paul was one of a kind and lived by the beat of his drum regardless of the audience's wishes. Many people didn't know Paul like the ones closest to him. He was funny, compassionate, and sometimes quite wacky, but that's who he was. He was the life of the party and the center of attention.
Paul is predeceased by his mother, Eleanor Wrobel, and father, Raoul Wrobel. His legacy continues through his children, Stacy and Paul Jr. His sister Doreen Willis, brother-in-law Mark Willis, nieces Veronica Abrams and Jessica Willis, great nephews Preston Willis and Tyler Penton and great niece Summer Penton, and special friend "Mernie." Though he is no longer antagonizing and enjoying the company of the aforementioned, he will be lovingly remembered and missed. May he rest in peace.
Services will be held at the home of his sister, Doreen Willis. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Appalachian Animal Rescue.
