Patty Pearson Waters, born November 24, 1946, in Catawba County, North Carolina, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and dedication. She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy Pearson and Maggie Smith Pearson, and by her beloved husband Philip, who passed on February 22, 2024.

A devoted accountant by profession and a woman of strong Southern Baptist faith, Patty touched the lives of many with her quiet strength and unwavering kindness. She is survived by her son, Johnathan McRary (Tonia); her sister, Helen Bolick; grandchildren, Logan McRary (Miranda) and Ian McRary; two great-grandchildren; and her nephew, Gary Bolick.

At this time there will be no formal services for Mrs. Waters.

The care of Mrs. Waters has been entrusted to Macon Funeral Home.
