Obituary
Patricia Sue Anglin Zilbauer, 80, of Franklin, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, after a period of declining health.
Born in Broward County, FL, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Rosswell Anglin, Sr., and the late Edith Mae Bromwell Anglin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas R. Anglin, Jr., and Robert M. Anglin. Before moving to Franklin, Pat worked as a beautician. Once she moved to Franklin, she owned and operated Sew Creative, along with her husband. Pat was always very active and enjoyed, bowling, playing tennis, participating in the Macon County Senor Games, fishing, sewing, and quilting. But what she cherished most was the time that she got to spend with her loving husband, Jim, children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother and loving wife. Pat and Jim have made many dear friends here in Macon County over the years, all of whom they love dearly.
Pat is survived by her husband of fifty nine years, James Frank Zilbauer, Sr.; son, James Frank Zilbauer, Jr. and his wife Sheila of Franklin; daughter, Deborah Z. Nesbit and her husband Joe, of Franklin; six grandchildren, Thomas James Robbins (Erin), Kristina Leigh Robbins Forrest (Chris), Audreyana "AJ" Nesbit Lowe (Robert), Joseph Matthew Nesbit, Nicohlas Allen Nesbit (Rebecca), and Carl Edgar Nesbit III; and eight great grandchildren, Dexter Robbins, Jack Robbins, Gunner Forrest, Jett Forrest, Serenity Lowe, Carrielynn Lowe, Ava Nesbit, and Bryley Nesbit. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
The funeral will be on Monday, February 12, at 2pm in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm, one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family will gather at Jim and Pat's home following the services to have a Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Macon County Senior Games, in Memory of Patricia Zilbauer.
