Obituary
Patricia "Pat" Grace Zane, 64, of Franklin passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones, on May 28, 2023.
She was born on February 16, 1959, in East Rockaway, Long Island, to the late Gerald and Frances Shea. She loved the mountains and the serenity which they brought her. She loved crossword puzzles, was a huge animal lover, and dog owner for most all of her life. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and her three animals; dogs, Chewie and Boomer; and cat, Mitty.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Richard Zane; two brothers, Gerald Shea (wife, Maryann), Robert Shea (wife, Barbara); niece, Emily Shea, and nephew, Andrew Shea.
The family will receive friends Friday, June 2, from 10-11am in the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at 11am at Woodlawn Cemetery. Rev. Steve Reeves will officiate.
