Obituary
Patricia Raby Cochran, 59, of Franklin, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord, on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
Born in Buncombe County to Johnny and Audrey Roper Raby, Patricia lived a life filled with love, music, and unwavering faith. Her salvation was her guiding light, followed closely by her love and devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her family was her heart, and she poured herself into every moment spent with them. She was a member of Mt. Sinai Assembly of God
Patricia had a gift for music and was often found playing the piano or singing with joy. She cherished the simple pleasures of life: canning, cooking, and anything that brought her closer to her loved ones. Her home was a haven of warmth and care, not only for her family but also for the many children she nurtured throughout the years. To them, she was affectionately known as "Nannie Tricia," a name that carried comfort and love.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Tony Cochran; her children, Josh Cochran (Amanda) and Jessica Hedden (Scott); her siblings, Mickey Raby (Jodie) and Lisa Shope; her grandchildren, Britt Cochran (Chloe), Caleb Cochran (Hanna), Wren Hedden, Ivy Hedden, Willow Hedden, and Briar Hedden; and her great-grandchildren, Pax Cochran and Beaux Cochran. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 26th at Macon Funeral Home from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m., officiated by Reverends John Raby, Chris Ciufo, and Darian Cochran.
Pallbearers will be Tony Cochran, Josh Cochran, Britt Cochran, Caleb Cochran, Scott Hedden, and Darhl Cochran. Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Cochran and Briar Hedden.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Kaylee's Closet or The American Kidney Foundation.
Patricia will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her faith, her music, and the boundless love she gave to all who knew her.
