Obituary

Nycole "Coley" Marie Snyder Holland was born in Bradenton Fl, May 15, 1986, resided in Franklin, NC, for 35 years. She attended and graduated from Franklin High School, where she played tennis, and sang in the women's ensemble. She then attended college and graduated with a cosmetology license, becoming a successful color specialist. She poured her soul into making her clients feel beautiful and pampered. Nycole ran into the arms of her Savior and found eternal rest on Friday April 19th, 2024, at Duke University Hospital at the young age of 37, due to a fungus; Blastomycosis.

Nycole was a loving wife, a beloved mother, cherished daughter, devoted sister, and a wonderful friend. She was a key piece of her community, and a member of Biltmore Church. She was the backbone of her family. She showed her courage and strength as a role model not only to her children but to family and friends as well. Nycole poured her heart and soul into everything she did. She was a woman of excellence and she loved sharing her talents with those she loved. You always knew where to find Nycole... on the ball field cheering on her babies and all her friends' babies too. She was a proud aunt to all her friends' kids. Nycole was extremely independent, strong, caring, and funny. If you knew her you couldn't help but love her. She will forever be the brightest ray of sunshine God has ever created. Her laughter would fill the room. She was never afraid to be herself, goofy and all, and she recognized that laughter could heal the saddest of hearts. She dedicated herself to always being the person to lessen whatever load you carried. She graced this world with her beautiful voice, belting out Mariah Carey tunes, always unfiltered no matter the situation. She enjoyed every moment of life, from learning to drive a stick shift with her dad over Saldeer Mountain, to singing Garth Brooks with her siblings and cousins in the living room. She was a second momma to everyone, especially the fire department kids. She was kind, supportive, and someone you could always count on. She was a woman of God always wanting to help... even if that meant putting you in your place. She was the life of the party, and the world is a duller place without her in it.

Nycole survived by her husband, Tim Holland; her children, Josiah Hursey, Brayden Holbrooks, Hadley Snyder, Easton Holbrooks; step-children Amanda Keiper(Kimmy) of Indiana, Ashley Teifke (Willie) of Michigan; father and step mom, Joseph and Nikki Snyder of Virginia; mother, Heather Snyder of Florida; brother, Josh Snyder of Ashville; sister, Jessika Snyder(Sydney Reed) of Hudson NC; her Gammie, Janet Harvey; step brother, Dakota Holland; numerous aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. And her dog, Mazi, who never left her side.

Nycole was preceded by her pappy, Joseph Snyder Sr; grandma, Peggy Snyder; granddaddy, Lewis Martin and uncle Keenan Martin.

A celebration of life will be held in the Chapel at Macon Funeral Home, Friday April 26 at 4pm. Rev. Patrick Trawick officiating. The family will be receiving friends and family from 3 -4pm, one hour prior to the service. The family will also hold a celebration of life at Macon Rec Park Picnic Area(below the pool) on Saturday April 27th from 2pm to 6pm. Everyone is welcome to attend in remembrance of Nycole.

Please bring with you laughs and fun stories, this is what Nycole would ask us to do for her. She would say please don't be sad for my passing, always remember me and the fun times we've all had together I am with the Lord now and walking in all his beautiful glory, think of me and smile. Nycole will be deeply missed by everyone. Rest in peace our angel.

Words from her children:
