Norma Jeanne Sterling Chapman, 86, of Franklin, NC went to be with Jesus on Sunday, January 28, 2024.

Norma was the daughter of the late John and Gladys Walker Sterling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Charles Chapman, Sr.; a sister, Ruth Sterling Prementine; and a brother, John Sterling. She attended Mount Hope Baptist Church and the Macon County Senior Center. Norma was a loving and caring person, who was always helping take care of others. She always greeted everyone with a quick smile.

She is survived by her children, Edwin Chapman Jr. (Michele) of Leesburg, VA, Paula Jernigan Byrd of McDavid, FL, Tammy Buckner (Brian) of Jacksonville, FL; seven grandchildren, Craig, Heather, Lauren (Edwin), Ashley (Jose), Edwin III (Erika), Brian Jr. (Brittani), and Jordan; four great grandchildren, Lily, Mateo, Jacob, and Brysen.

A private family service will be held.
