Obituary
Neoma "Noni" Lanier Houghton, 92, of Franklin, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, November 11, 2022.
Born in Plant City, FL, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Corinne Gill Lanier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Houghton; daughter, Kathy Houghton; and two sisters, Janice Strauss and Velma Jean Glaros. Mrs. Houghton was a member of First Baptist Church in Franklin. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting, crocheting, and was an excellent seamstress. She was a friend to everyone. She loved visiting with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren and their families.
She is survived by her daughter, Kari Crawford and husband, Bob of Franklin; sister, Betty Jo Lang of Plant City, FL; five grandchildren, Erin Jenkins, Steven Jenkins, Kendall Butler, Tanner Allen, and Graham Allen; and seven great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 11am at Oaklawn Cemetery in Plant City, FL.
